In an emergency, always call 911. This website, its contact form, our social media and the members app are not monitored around the clock and must never be used to report a fire, medical emergency or other urgent situation.

By using this website or the Avoca FD app you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use them. The site and app are run by Avoca Hose Co. No. 1, an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit fire company at 740 Main Street, Avoca, PA 18641.

• Give accurate information and keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Tell us right away if you think someone else has used your account.
• We may suspend or remove accounts that misuse the site or app, and member access ends when membership ends.

The members area and app are for active members of the department only. Members agree to:

• Keep dispatch reports, call details and any patient or personal information confidential, and follow the department's policies and applicable privacy laws, including HIPAA where it applies.
• Not copy, screenshot, post or share members-only information outside the department.
• Submit truck checks, attendance and other records honestly and accurately.

Don't use the site or app to break the law, send spam, harass anyone, upload anything harmful, or try to get into accounts or areas you aren't allowed to use.

• Avoca Hose Co. No. 1 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. Please keep your receipt and check with a tax advisor about your situation.
• Recurring gifts can be cancelled at any time, which stops future payments. If a gift was made in error, contact us within 30 days and we will work with you on a refund.
• Payments are processed by PayPal or Stripe under their own terms.

Photos, text, logos and the department crest on this site belong to Avoca Hose Co. No. 1 or are used with permission. Please ask before reusing them. Safety information is provided for general education and is not a substitute for professional advice. We work to keep the site accurate, including call information, but it may be incomplete or delayed.

We link to and embed content from other sites, such as Facebook, Google Maps, YouTube, PayPal, Knox Box and Smart911. We aren't responsible for their content or practices.

The website and app are provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent the law allows, Avoca Hose Co. No. 1 and its members are not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of the website or app, or from their being unavailable.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

We may update these terms. The new version takes effect when posted here with a new date at the top.
